ICA 1st and 2nd

Welcome to Week 2 of the Online Newsletter.  Below you will find the spelling words, new Bible verse, information about reading logs and the nature journal we will be creating this week.

Also, as a fun viewing experience, I am posting here a video from the New York Times showing what happens when 2nd Graders are taken out for a ‘fancy meal’.  God bless, and enjoy!

 Updates & Notes:

 Reading Logs:

  • Instead of a weekly reading log I am including in this folder an ‘ongoing log’ that you can keep by the bedside or with the books your child is reading. In this way it acts more like a tool for building reading at home.

Grandparents’ Day is October 21. If you haven’t already submitted the name and address of your child’s Grandparent or Special Older Friend, please do so this week! Thank you, thank you!
